Hearing the Voice for God
You might think receiving meaningful communication from the Voice for God is a special gift reserved for a select few, but that is just not the case. Hearing the Voice for God is an ability we all have, in fact hearing this "Inner Voice" is our natural state. When we do not "hear" it is because we have shut-off our natural receptors to receiving divine guidance.
Guidance in the form of a conversational voice is available to all who "open" themselves up to receiving it. Divine guidance is always available to those who choose to "hear".
Although hearing the Voice for Truth is very natural for all of us, we do need to practice "hearing" this voice until it becomes second nature because we have "forgotten" our true nature and therefore do not have a conscious memory of receiving direct communication from God.
What is the Voice for God?
The Voice for God is Holy Spirit, the one aspect of your "true self" that has never been separate from the Mind of God. Holy Spirit is the messenger that holds the truth for you in trust until you choose to engage in direct communication and "hear" the Voice for God.
Holy Spirit is the bridge that links you and I to the kingdom of heaven. When we sit with Holy Spirit and "hear" or communicate with the Voice for Truth we are literally having a conversation with the Source of All That Is, for Holy Spirit speaks with the authority of God.

The Process
Although I had been "hearing" and receiving divine communication for years, I found it a little difficult for me to articulate exactly how people could gain a real experience of hearing the "Voice for God." My answer to anyone who asked was always two-fold:
1) Be willing to receive communication.
2) Open your heart and mind.
Obviously my method of explaining the process did not offer any real benefit for most people seeking a direct experience of communication with God. The key to my becoming a successful teacher came in the form of DavidPaul & Candace Doyle of the Voice for God Foundation. Together they taught a process, revealed to them by Holy Spirit, that anyone could use to receive communication from this voice within.
